Scrolling Background

today I learned yet another way of making a scrolling background for my game. Although rather easier than the other method I still find it to be lacking in some areas. Maybe because the wiki doesn't exactly teach us all to well. But either way I did learn something in scrolling backgrounds. But I find using the camera view for the scrolling background to be better because your character can travel everywhere while the camera follows. This is a dumb move considering we should have already aquired these techniques in Gaming I so we could just pick up and continue. Live an Learn and Don't Apply to Mountwest, would be my recommendation.
